Very low snow pack (less than 3-feet) made for an interesting day. Because of this, a typically 'easy' snowshoe trip became a 'moderate' trip, requiring some route-finding to avoid and navigate the many islands created by the melting snows and resultant creek flows. Over-all, many interesting photo-ops and an enjoyable day.
