Sherman Peak/Squak Glacier (Mount Baker)

Camped at Crag View.Lots of tent spots open, lots were being used by a large guided group & running water. Left camp @ 12:00a, reached summit at 7a. Route was pretty straight forward, but had to go a ways north past the peak and double back to gain the ridge because of large crevasses. Ridge was compact dirt complete with dirt cornices.Different view of Grant Peak and all the climbers on the Coleman route. Left summit @ 8:40 and reached camp by 11:45,
the TH by 3p. A nice climb and a fun way to do something different on Baker.
