Satulick Mountain

Trip date 3/20/16 - There was some confusion about whether or not we'd find a bridge but Mr. Morgan below is correct. We can confirm Kautz Creek bridge is out. Crossing was doable, even later in the day with more melt coming down river.

Other crossings were problematic - 4 to 6 feet of snow on the bridges and river banks. We had a shovel and were able to carve out steps for access.

No trail broken after the junction of Wonderland Trail and Rampart Ridge, so we broke trail the rest of the way to Devil's Dream Camp. Ultimately yours truly chose a wrong line up the mountain from DD Camp and we were forced to turn around. Our strong group made the trip to half way up Satulick and back in 11 hours, including the delays in clearing bridges and navigation.
