Mount Storm King
I filmed my trip up Mount Storm King, make sure to watch the trip here: https://youtu.be/LFMY5As7hCc The distance of this hike is short, but don't let that fool you - this trail has a steep elevation gain and at every switchback, the altitude will weigh on you more and more. Not only that, there are ropes at the top. You should be physically fit to do this hike. It is well worth the journey with such an incredible view at the top.

At the time of my hike, the trail conditions were great. Once you get near the top you face an unmaintained trail with ropes to help you climb the mountain. It's challenging, but not impossible. Just take your time and be careful.
In my video where I documented our trip up Mount Storm King (https://youtu.be/LFMY5As7hCc) we got to the parking lot at around 9AM on a Saturday. The lot was packed, but not full. I would bring plenty of water and a light jacket with you as you hike. The jacket won't be necessary during the hike, it's more for when you reach the peak, which can be chilly.
