Mount Logan/Banded-Fremont Carryover
A climbing trip up the Banded Glacier to the summit of Mount Logan and then down the Fremont Glacier. We did this as a four day carryover...a totally awesome way to climb this mountain!

The trails and glaciers were in excellent condition.
We did this as a four day carry-over...a totally awesome way to climb this mountain! We hiked in via Thunder Creek and Fisher Creek from Colonial Creek Campground and ascended the Banded Glacier. We camped on the Banded-Douglas col on night two and enjoyed great views of the North Cascades and a beautiful sunset! In the morning we summited Mount Logan and then descended the Fremont Glacier to Thunder Basin. Day four we hiked the Thunder Creek Trail back to Colonial Creek Campground.
