Mount Forgotten

Mount Forgotten

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

We climbed Forgotten on 9/13/14. It was a great trip with beautiful weather. It was such a gorgeous day that we spent a lot of time on the summit, and a lot of time both on the way up and down relaxing in the meadows or foraging for berries.

There were just six of us in two cars, so there was room for us to park in front of the boulders blocking the old Perry Creek Road, which may have saved us a small amount of hiking distance (as opposed to starting at the Mt. Dickerman TH). The route was completely snow-free and dry, so it was a pretty easy scramble for everyone. However, those who have only done easy scrambles might be intimidated by the exposure in several places.
