Trip Date: Sunday April 26, 2015
Departed from Big Creek trailhead at 08:20; reached summit of Mt. Ellinor at 12:20 --ascended in 4 hours. Started descent from summit at 13:00; reached Big Creek trailhead and back to vehicle at 16:00 --descent in 3 hours.
All participants made it the summit.

Trail conditions were mostly good; more snow had remained on the trail from summer/winter junction to the summit. Microspikes would have been a good idea, one participant brought Yak-Tracks; participants without traction devices managed the trail and the last pitch to the summit. Trekking poles made the difference.

Group was well matched for keeping a conditioner pace.
