Mount Daniel/Daniel Glacier

Aug 19-20, 2015
Base camp just above Peggy's Pond. Good water source. Left base camp N-NE Thurs. 7am gained N. ridge and traversed along N. side of N. ridge up to Daniels Glacier. East section of Glacier extremely broken up, but manageable. Easier access further W. on glacier. Summit at 3pm
Back to base camp 6pm. back to cars 10:30pm. Long day, but safe and successful. Next year will schedule as 3-day climb, just to eliminate the long hike out and drive home at night.
Eva's route described earlier is doable in winter with lot's of snow, but this time or year need to get over to the North side of the N. ridge and traverse West to the Daniels glacier.
