Little Si & Boulder Garden Loop

It was a busy morning at the trailhead, which is to be expected on a warm, spring Sunday along the I-90 corridor. The main trailhead parking lot was full when we arrived at 7:30am but there were still spots in the overflow lot. People were still heading up when we got back to the car at around noon, so it's a busy one all day! 

The Boulder Garden Loop portion of this hike was not nearly as busy as I expected. We passed a few small groups of people but mostly had the trail to ourselves. We stopped to watch a few climbing groups start their ascents along the way! The final push up to Little Si was where we encountered the most people (as expected), but there was plenty of room to spread out at the top to enjoy some lunch in the sun before heading back down. The last 1/3 mile up to the top is a little scrambly, so pull out the treking poles if you have them. Otherwise, it's a beautiful, well-maintained trail.
