Lake Serene

This trip was to be a snowshoe to Lichtenwasser Lake, but due to high avalanche conditions, it was changed. We had rain all day. There was compact snow on the trail from the trailhead, so we used the microspikes but not the snowshoes which we carried. Turned around at the boulder field just before the lake. Good day even with the rain.
