Lake Serene

TRAIL CLOSED - Lake Serene is a strenuous, 7.2 mile in-and-out day hike with 1,920 ft in elevation gain. The trail heads up thickly forested slopes past Bridal Veil Falls to a secluded lake.

TRAIL CLOSED SEPTEMBER 25- JULY 1, 2018

Due to upcoming timber harvest activity, The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest has issued a temporary closure order for the Lake Serene Trailhead beginning September 25, 2017. A signed Forest Order  outlines this temporary closure of the Lake Serene Trailhead and the entire length of the Lake Serene Trail including Bridal Veil Falls Trail.

On behalf of our members, The Mountaineers strongly advocated against this during the comment period. Please read our letter to the Forest Service for more info.
