Very popular (crowded) hike due to accessibility of the hike off Highway 2. Come early as the parking lot was very full. Lots of steps for a hot day. The payoff is a cold lake with lots of hikers opting to jump in! Keep in mind that Highway 2 backs up with westbound traffic at Sultan--especially on a Sunday. Bottom line: go early to avoid the full heat of day, crowds and traffic!
