Iron Bear (winter)

On 1/23/2016 we summited Iron Bear, gaining 2,700' in 8:30 hours. We snowshoed the Iron Creek road to its head and then pretty much ascended the open forest covered slopes directly up to the summit. Low clouds, more or less constant snow and some wind high made for an authentic winter scramble experience.
