Guye Peak/West Face

Pleasant climbing in the shade on a scorching hot day. Left cars at Alpental and walked the road. Approach to the base of the first pitch in 2.25 hours. All three rope teams left the summit at 6.25 hours from car. Total elapsed time of 8.25 hours.

Used a #3 Camalot in a perfect pocket as part of the belay at the top of the 1st pitch. The location of the pocket is on the ramp, maybe 15-20ft past the last rock move.
