Glacier Peak/Disappointment Peak Cleaver

Was at trailhead by 9:30am and got to the Shelter by 12:45, got to White Pass by 4:30 and decided to camp in first basin at 6:30pm. From White Pass we took the 2nd saddle to get over the ridge, worked fine with snow. On Sat the 5th we headed out at 5:00am, crossed the White Chuck and on up to Glacier Gap, many people camped below there - hiked on scree to the edge of the Cool Glacier, we had heard from Tacoma group about the crevasse so were careful as we turned the corner to the ride below Glacier Peak. At the final ridge took scree up to the final snow field and post-holed to the top. We had high winds but no rain. Got back to camp by 3:30pm under sunny skies. Up at 7am to head out and got back to cars by 12:30 - discovered Darrington has two new breweries...on the way out. Great day and thanks to both Mountie groups up there for beta and high fives.
