Day Hike - Wilds of Queen Anne

We enjoyed an urban hike through the parks and streets of Queen Anne Hill on a sunny Saturday morning.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

It was a fantastic morning for ten of us to walk through the lovely parks and streets of one of Seattle's prettiest urban neighborhoods. We started with a walk through Seattle Center and the Space Needle and then climbed up the east side of Queen Anne Hill and doing a loop. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and landscaping of many of the Queen Anne homes. With warm sun and high clouds, we enjoyed spectacular views from each side of the hill - looking out to the Cascades, Olympics, Lake Washington, Gas Works Park, West Seattle, Magnolia, cruise ships, Washington State ferries, and more. We took a several short stops for photography, coffee, and baked goods.
