Day Hike - Whistle Lake

Great hike on a sunny day.

  • The trail was in good shape with all directional signage in place. There are a couple muddy, slippery rocky downhill spots but all is quite doable.

We arrived on time and I scooped the last parking spot. No parking pass is needed. The weather was sunny and a perfect hiking temperature. Our 5.5 mile trip took 3.5 hours with 2 longer stops. We only saw 5 other people on this midweek hike. Lots of moss, mushrooms and a scattering of big trees (especially at the end).
