Day Hike - Spray Park

Flowers are now in prime time. We had a poor weather day but still enjoyed some of the show of color in the first benches in Spray park.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • Lots of ups and downs on this route, tread has a lot of exposed roots in the first 1.5 miles.  Poles would be recommended for reducing knee/hip impact on the way out.  Spray Falls were great and worth the side trip.

Gravel road was good, some washboard areas but seen in much worse in previous years.  Lots of cars at the TH, but most were going to Tolmie peak LO so this trail was much quieter.  Would recommend getting to TH between 8-9am.  Self serve fee area for cash is available on the road in, make sure you put the MRNP or ATB pass card on the front dash as they are checking vehicles.
