Trails, sidewalks and roads were all in good shape. Even the grass on the memorial hillside was in great walking condition.
Eight of us spent a glorious 2 1/2 hours from MLK Memorial to Lk Washington and I-90 East Portal lookout enjoying early evening light breeze and long shadows. Uniquely this hike takes you over I90 on the Mountains to Sound Greenway and under the busy highway just east of the east portal. Make that three parks and two grand P-Patches with an older model Caddy Hearse for good measure.
