Day Hike - Margaret's Way to Debbie's View

A good hike in the forest with fall color. We had a good time and were done before the rain came.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • The trail is in good shape and was not muddy despite earlier rain. There were several spots with blowdown that we went over or under.

No problems parking on a weekday. There was fall color and so the woods were prettier than ever. We had a good hike to Debbie’s View. Mt. Rainier was in the clouds, but we had a good territorial view and the viewpoint to ourselves. As we prepared to leave, a very large group came in. Our timing was good.

Everyone had a nice time and got in a reasonable conditioner. It is so nice to have places like this without having to travel a long way.
