This is a good hike to do year round. The forest is pleasant and sometimes wildlife is seen. Currently the forecast for Tuesday is chance rain which is the best I see for the next week. If this radically changes, i.e. more than a half inch of rain is expected (that is an all day soaker in my estimation) I will cancel. So far it looks like we will be fine. Always layer for possible cold and wet weather this time of year.
