Day Hike - Little Si & Boulder Garden Loop
Easy/moderate hike bookended by relatively steep inclines. Trail winds through giant boulders and beautiful forested areas that lead up to a small rocky bluff.

Trail conditions were excellent - only a few slightly muddy spots.
Met up at 7:45 in an empty overflow lot, then wandered over to the trailhead. The main parking lot was full by the time we started our hike.
After 0.3 miles on the Little Si Trail, we took a right at the first junction to hike around the Boulder Garden Loop, which was lush with ferns and big moss-covered boulders. The last section of the Loop Trail was quite steep and most of our group seemed glad to have trekking poles for extra stability.
When the Loop Trail connected with the Little Si Trail again, we took another right and made our way up to the summit. Despite a forecast of cloudy weather, we caught some sun breaks. There were a few other people at the summit where we took pictures and had a short break and a snack. On our way back down to the trailhead we spotted a beautiful early trillium. We were back at our cars by around 11:30.
