Day Hike - Grand Prospect
8th & final conditioning hike with an enthusiastic group (and one fairy nymph) on a drippy day.

Previous days of 70 degree weather melted all the snow and left ample puddles & mud. Only a few inches of crunchy snow was encountered at Grand Prospect (see picture). Parking lot was open. Vault toilets were open & stocked.
- As a conditioning hike, we kept a brisk pace with few stops. Everyone had a chance to lead which assured that everyone got the conditioning they wanted.
- Pipecleaners, Fans, Palm Trees, Cat's Tails, Badges - we saw them all thanks to Bruce's naturalist expertise (hahaha - those are names of mosses)
- Oh, yeah - we encountered a fairy nymph along the trail, too 😉
