Newport Way is still closed west of the trailhead.
The trail is in great shape. We hiked to the end of the trail and looked at the information kiosks and discussed history. We then hiked to the top of Anti-Aircraft Peak. Then we enjoyed lunch at The Million Dollar View. The day was pretty clear, so we saw Mt. Baker and the lake below.
