Cross-country Ski - Methow Valley Winter Trails
A lovely loop through forest and meadow in the Mazama ski area, with a mix of green (easy) and blue (intermediate) trails.

There was some road construction along highway 20, so there was a detour to get to the trailhead, that added about 10 extra driving minutes.
The trail was recently groomed for both classic and skate with the exception of the upper portion of Jack's trail and the snow was great, even with a low snow cover.
We started at the Hwy 20 trailhead, which is right before the end of the groomed road. We split into two groups, one going clockwise and the other counterclockwise: River Run and Jacks trails.
The trail goes along the river and past several small farms.
There is a shelter along Upper River Run trail which is a great place to eat lunch
