Trail was not tracked for XC skis that day but was groomed for skate skiing. The snow was really great, so going up and down hills were manageable. The trails were not crowded at all and the scenery was beautiful. There are several pretty steep hills to go both up and down, so skiers need to have good skills in that area. If icy, it could be hazardous.
The highlight of our trip was having a forestry expert on our trip who helped identify several animal tracks we came across.
