CHS 1 Hike - Squak Mountain: Bullitt Fireplace Access

A great short hike with some outstanding Mountaineers!

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • The trails had a fair amount of rocks and roots, and in some sections, they were quite steep. There were also a few patches of mud and a few downed trees, but nothing major.

We spotted a few deer on the trail, along with several dozen trail runners. Apparently, there was a race happening, and those poor trail runners appeared exhausted. Despite the few steep sections, it was a very rewarding hike on a beautiful sunny day.DSC_0628.jpg
