CHS 1 Hike - Cherry Creek Falls

Our small group hiked to Cherry Creek Falls this morning. The recent rainfall boosted the falls to stunning and created many muddy patches. No clean boots were had after this hike.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  •  There are two stream crossings and only one is large enough to need to forge a way across either over a fallen tree or rock hopping.cherry Creek 4-26.jpg

 The trail was empty at 8am on a Friday morning with ample parking along the road

We saw a few trilliums in bloom and a couple bunches of cheery wood violet. 

Parking at this trailhead can become crowded on weekends and there is no bathroom available.
