Alpine Scramble - Chikamin Peak

Beautiful clear weather day for a Car to Car. Fall colours all over will trail past the overgrown sections in great shape. Also an awesome group of people, made us do the round trip in 11.5 hours

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Road conditions good. Free of Snow. Trail starts to be a little over grown once you cross the creek. Goes on for miles of overgrown and narrow stuff (KT tape on my knees helped on this C2C)

Trail free of snow.  Saw a few over night campers, but had the entire mountain past the lakes to us. We saw a few fighter jets fly really low on the valley. 

 

Great strong group of people. Made this trip much fun..

The approach definitely felt like a bush whack at some sections.
