Alpine Scramble - Chikamin Peak

One day push along the PCT to tag Chikamin peak and enjoy the views of some lakes along the way. Fast paced hike and will be a long day with an early start.

Seattle at 4.30am. TH 6.30am. 

Prefer camping at the trail head to avoid driving both ways on the same day

We will do the Mineral creek approach (some brushy approach in the beginning - so wear water resistant pants). Aim to is to complete the car to car in around 10-12 hours. We'll be moving briskly, with quick breaks along the way 

Expected to take 6-7 hours on the way up and 4-5 hours on the way down.
