Coldwater Lake

Hike the Lakes Trail that skirts Coldwater Lake and then up a hill to a viewpoint and junction with the South Coldwater Ridge Trail. Consider hiking the Lakes Trail & South Coldwater Ridge Loop for a little more mileage and elevation gain.

Take Exit 40 off of I-5 and drive SR 504, Spirit Lake Memorial Highway, to the Coldwater Lake Trailhead.

Hike the Lakes Trail  until you reach its junction with the Coldwater Ridge Trail. It's 9 miles round trip with 550 feet of elevation gain.

 Please use the South Coldwater Ridge route/place to schedule a loop trip around Coldwater Lake on the South Coldwater Ridge and Lakes Trails. It's a 10-mile loop with ~1,650  feet of elevation gain if you leave a car at each trailhead.
