Per Mountaineer, Andy Boos on 11/27/20.  You can also find this on Peakbaggers under Whiteface which will include his GPX track.  I followed his track  12/1/20 and it worked great.  Bad weather will likely cancel this trip.  More info will be sent as the trip date approaches.

"Nice winter scramble or backcountry ski ascent accessible from the Yodelin parking area on Highway 2. Note that the only legal parking is in the large lot on the east side of the highway, and if you come on a weekend that the ski area is open, arrive early because this lot is used as overflow for the ski area, and often fills up by 9:00am.

From the parking area, cross the highway and walk the road through Yodelin village (shown as Stevens Road / S Nason Road on Gaia maps). The road ends after about 0.8 mile and my GPS track starts here. We had a fairly deep snowpack for late November, about 3 to 5 feet on the ground already.

From the road end, we headed west into the forest, and angled up to meet the PCT at about 3880.' We were able to follow the trail until under the SE slopes of Whiteface, but as long as there's a good thick snowpack, following the trail wouldn't be necessary, and might save you some mileage. Leaving the trail and heading up toward the summit ridge is mostly moderate slopes, nothing particularly steep or difficult.

The final 200 feet or so goes up the NE ridge, again nothing particularly difficult. We were lucky to go from mostly cloudy to mostly clear skies right as we reached the top, and had terrific views. The top is not completely open, but the trees are scattered enough to allow good views if you wander around a bit.

For the most part, this route has limited avalanche danger, but there are some short sections below steeper slopes where caution would be prudent if the hazard level was considerable or higher."

TBD, but it will have to be early in order to get a parking spot.  Carpooling a must.
