Participants familiar with Seattle's history, architecture, urban horticulture or other insights to our West Seattle route are welcome to help with the narration.  Pace will adjust to walkers' comfort and fitness level -- this is not a marathon but a reasonable level of fitness is assumed for about 4.6 miles .  There are more than 300 stairs up across various sections.

The urban night walk around Delridge and Pigeon Point  takes us through neighborhoods off the beaten track. This is the Delridge and Pigeon Point hike #16 in David Williams' Seattle Walks (2017) fine guide.

Discovering Seattle Parks (Westerlind, 2017 Mountaineers Books) is a wonderful guide to our city parks system.  Keen hikers can find Seattle Walks in local book stores or (gasp) online.  Our Lincoln Park walk the prior week (hopefully) offered stunning sunset views to the west.   Expect more easterly views this time.

Meet shortly before 6pm near xx at the corner of SW Yancy St and 28th Ave SW where Yancy dead-ends at a cul-de-sac.
