Kubota Gardens is a formal Japanese styled garden that should be beautiful and interesting in Spring. The admission is free. I anticipate us spend one to one and a half hours just at the gardens. But the gardens is only part of the adventure. You will get the full tour of Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood included many lovely parks, views and the Lake Washington beachfront. Come see and explore this hidden community.

Meet at 12 PM-Noon at the Rainier Beach Light-Rail Station-north end of the center platform (nearest Henderson St.). The Rainier Beach Light-Rail Station is six stations south of Downtown Seattle (International District Station) and two stations north of the Seatac/Airport Station. This trip is best accessed by--you guessed it--the Link Light-Rail Train.
If you want to drive to the starting point there is some unrestricted on street parking to the west of the station (on Renton Ave.) and on some other nearby streets.
Here is the location of the station if you are driving: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4eMQ2i9uGVfEFBGg7
