Join me on a one-way traverse walk from Woodland Park Zoo to UW Stadium via the Burke Gilman trail, Gasworks park, and Agua Verde Cafe. Lunch at Agua Verde will be a part of the trip!

This will be a one-way walk from Woodland Park Zoo to UW Stadium by way of Fremont, The Burke Gilman Trail, Gasworks Park, Fritz Hedges Waterway Park, and Agua Verde Cafe.
The idea here is that we walk downhill and then along the mostly flat Burke-Gilman at a fast pace (2.5-3 MPH). Once we reach Agua Verde Cafe, we break for a group lunch, you can view the menu here: https://www.aguaverdecafe.com/_files/ugd/8871c6_877d900f20034c06b047504d6bf88415.pdf
Agua Verde Cafe is one of my favorite lunch spots in town for its great menu, dietary restriction friendly food, and amazing views of the water, house boats, and all around good vibes. Plan on bringing a means of purchasing food (around $20-25 on average).
After our lunch, we will continue along the waterway and Montlake Cut, before heading up towards UW to the #44 Bus stop near UW Stadium, which will take us back up towards Woodland Park Zoo and Phinney Ridge.
10 AM outside the NW Entrance to Woodland Park Zoo by the bathrooms and the Otter lot.
