Urban Walk - Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail

Casual urban walk along the Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail and city sidewalks passing by the Google campus and urban garden, Carillion Point, the Lake Washington waterfront, downtown Kirkland and Marina Park. All fitness levels welcomed but you must be able to comfortably walk 5 miles. Rain or shine!

This is a casual walk at conversational pace but please make sure you can comfortably walk at least 5 miles. Our 4-5 mile route will start south along the Cross Kirkland Corridor (a hard-packed gravel trail), pass the Google campus and urban garden, then turn west toward Lake Washington and downtown Kirkland via paved streets, pass Carillon Point, walk north along the Kirkland waterfront, stop briefly at the Marina Park area for  coffee/drinks, before heading back to the Cross Kirkland Corridor and our starting point.  There will pass by a few bathrooms along the route. Trip will be canceled/postponed if there is heavy rain.  We should be done in a couple hours. 

Meet at the parking area next to the Kirkland Rotary Central Station at 9:00AM. Details will be sent prior to the event.
