Meeting Time: 0830 May 10, 2025 - arrive earlier if you need more time. Parking is along the road. Wheels come in very handy for moving the boat to the beach. There is a steep sandy/rocky ramp down to the beach, get help for this section.
Bathrooms are available (usually) at Titlow and Owen Beach
Launch Time: 0930 sharp, we will be riding the dying ebb to Owen Beach
Lunch around 1130 to noon at Owen Beach
Return time: About 1430 hrs. Rescues will be practiced on return so, paddle end time will be about 1500 to 1530 hrs depending on how long we play in the water at Titlow.
Help each other move boats to and from the beach. No-one leaves until everyone is ready to depart and the debrief of the paddle has been completed.
Paddle completion sheets should be submitted to the leader before departure.
PADDLE WILL BE CANCELLED SHOULD THE CONDITIONS EXCEED THOSE STATED.

Required Equipment
These three essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally, dress for immersion as we will practice rescues
Also:
Drysuit is required
Lunch, water, snacks
Consider bringing a skull cap and noseplugs
