We'll take a short trip to Salisbury Park on Hood Canal, the come back into Port Gamble Bay. Early lunch in Port Gamble at the launch point. Then we will make a loop around the bay, and do rescues.
Port Gamble Bay. Those renting gear from the Olympic Outdoor Center should go to the launch site at 9:00am. The launch point is just down the hill from the shop. If you need to purchase a hoodie or gloves, the shop also opens at 9:00.
Bring lunch.

You will want get a drysuit, booties, and a boat package which includes
- Life Jacket (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray Skirt
- Bilge Pump
- Paddle Float
You will have to source your own hoodie and gloves.
Required Equipment
These three essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
