We'll launch from Owen Beach and head to Gig Harbor. There should be minimum current as we cross the Narrows. Once within Gig Harbor we'll make a stop at Skansie Brothers Park to use the bathroom before making a loop around the perimeter of the Harbor including up to Crescent Creek Park. After exploring the harbor shoreline we'll have lunch. The Tides is closed for renovations - We'll either stop at Skansie Park (bring your own lunch or select a close-by restaurant) or at 7 Seas Brewing (sandwiches/salads available from the on-site food truck partner, Millville Pizza) , dependent on group preference and weather.  More details on that just before the trip. After lunch we'll leave the Harbor and paddle to Dalco Head, then back to Owen Beach.

Dress for winter: drysuits and winter underlayers required. Bring radios and towbelts if you have them.

It could be breezy. There is lots of open water  and one of the 3 crossings is over 2 miles so there's always the potential for conditions.

We'll launch from Owen Beach at Point Defiance Park. Some like to have wheels here. There are bathrooms. Parking is free.

Arrive in time to be ready for the shoretalk at 8:50. We'll launch at 9am.
