Wednesday evening paddleRegistration/sign up is required. Registration will remain open until 3PM, July 5.

Participants need to be prepared to launch at 6PM (Boats on the water!) We will conduct a short pre-trip meeting just prior.

Be prepared to unload in the wide pull out next to the Olympia Area Rowing building (Blue Roof) near the boat ramps. We will stage kayaks on the grass nearby. If there is little to know traffic, you can unload your gear quickly. If it's somewhat busy, plan to park at Northpoint Parking lot, just north of the launch, and carry your gear down.

Sunset 9:09PM. Civil End 9:48PM.

Route will be determined at the launch and designed for the group and weather/water conditions. Please know the goal is to manage the trip at the SK2-3 level, but the nature of this weekly trip series, and weather, is unpredictable. Participants need to assess their own comfort level and pay attention to wind levels the day of the trip. If it's very windy we will avoid as much as possible, but there are limited options because we are launching from the extreme south end of Budd Inlet.

Call/text or email leader, Ron Jones 360.359.3395, explorer.ron@gmail.com with any questions. Last minute inquiries may not get a response.

Kayaks launching from the floats or dock do not need to pay a fee. However, this is an active boat launch site so it's important to stay out of the way of vehicles launching boats.
