Naturalist Trip - Pacific Crest Trail: Snoqualmie Pass to Windy Pass
We will hike a maximum of 1.8 miles north from Windy Pass on the Pacific Crest Trail, spending most if not all of the time in the Olallie Meadows wetland area. It is known for wildflowers and carnivorous plants. We will look for pollinators as the emphasis will be on insect-plant interactions in this special habitat.

Meet at the Preston Park and Ride in Issaquah at 8:15 am to carpool to the trailhead near Windy Pass (~where the PCT crosses FS 9070). Parking is very limited at the trailhead so we must carpool. Note that a high clearance vehicle is recommended for the drive. Weather changes, especially heat, might change the start time.
