Naturalist Trip - Juanita Bay Park
Let’s go birding! Grab your binoculars and join us at Juanita Bay Park, a 110-acre urban wildlife habitat along the northeast shores of Lake Washington. In less than two miles of walking, we’ll get to explore many diverse habitats where we’ll look and listen for songbirds, waterfowl, shorebirds, and raptors. All experience levels are welcome.

We will start at 8:00 AM and will bird for approximately 3 hours, moving slowly and stopping often. Bring binoculars, a scope if you have one, and any guides and apps you prefer.
All experience and knowledge levels are welcome. Our main goals are to have fun and enjoy this beautiful park while birding together and learning from each other.
We will meet in the Juanita Bay Park parking lot, 2201 Market Street, Kirkland, 98033. Please be ready to go at 8:00 AM. We will have introductions, review the route, answer any questions, and then be on our way. The park restrooms are closed, but there is a portable toilet at the parking lot.
Once we are on our way please notify a leader if you need to separate from the group or leave the trip early.
