Naturalist Trip - Esmeralda Basin
1 MPH up, 1.75 MPH down, expect to spend about 9 hours on the trail and see 90+ species of flowering plants. From DeRoux up Esmeralda Basin and Fortune Peak and back. The last part of this is off-trail and fairly steep, you can skip this and wait below.

The DeRoux trailhead at 9:30. https://goo.gl/maps/CtLfe1rk85r4zEZq7 This google location isn't quite right. Look for the left turn into the DeRoux campground and trailhead as you approach the google location. If you get to the Esmeralda trailhead, turn around, it is about a mile back down the road.
