Naturalist Trip - Bottle Beach State Park

Motel: Spend Tuesday April 22 and Wednesday April 23 in Westport. 

- find your room. The leader has stayed at Westport Inn, Breaker's Boutique Inn, and a B & B. In the past, some have complained about the noise at Westport Inn. It all depends on fishing conditions. Not sure about other options.

Motel: Thursday, April 24. Find a place to stay in Long Beach, WA

The leader is planning on getting a room at https://www.innatarch.com/. The Ocean View at the Arch. He has stayed here before and it was nice.

Bring stuff for breakfasts and lunch.

We will find a place for dinners or people can eat on their own.

Tuesday Meet 9:15  AM at Ocean Beach Roosters – pick up coffee, breakfast to go, No staying in restaurant) – Then Bird Ocean Shores area

Stay Tuesday & Wednesday night in Westport

Wednesday:

Leave lodging at 6 AM – be at Bottle Beach by 6:30 AM and out to the beach quickly

Bird Bottle Beach to Tokeland on Wednesday.

Thursday:

Leave as early as possible

Head south, birding the route Bancroft did for the WOS meeting, including Bay Center, where Donna and I went.

Arrive in Long Beach for a place to stay by 6 PM

Friday:

Leave as early as possible

Bird Hansen Refuge (drive a little over an hour, more if we stop for coffee and rest stop)

Bird route Donna and I did, minus the two not-too-good spots.

Back to Seattle, Friday evening, figure late evening but people can leave earlier if need be.

Tuesday, April 22 - Meet at 9:15 AM at Ocean Beach Roasters in Ocean Beach, Wa.  Grab a coffee and snack to go. We will bird the Ocean Beach and Ocean Shore area on Tuesday, heading to Westport by late afternoon.
