The exact route for this trip depends on avalanche conditions. The optimal route goes counterclockwise, out to Mazama Ridge, then north along the ridge.  If conditions are amenable, we can climb all the way up and over the Panorama Point. There are several steep sections, including Pan Face, that require solid conditions for safe travel.  This route is also exposed to the elements and can be windy and cold in the upper stretches.
