This is a club climb = Basic Climb Graduates only. Sorry, no students. 4 days of peak bagging in the Chilliwak.  Will head to Pasayten if weather forecast is poor. Valid passport for entry to/from Canada is required. Please do some research about this area to decide if this trip is right for you. Accessing this area is more involved than a "standard" basic climb. Contact leader for permission to register. Climbers must be confident they have necessary fitness - please let me know what you've been doing lately to be certain of this.

  • Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)

  • An ice axe (not technical ice tools)
  • A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder
  • A sleeping pad
  • A back pack (40 to 60 liters)
  • Webbing and accessory cords
  • 6 straight gate carabiners
  • 2 locking carabiners
  • Large pear-shaped locking carabiner
  • Belay device
  • Climbing harness

  • Chock pick (nut tool)
