Mini-conditioning is the goal of this series of ten Feb-Mar morning hikes. This is your opportunity to organize your morning, your gear and practice getting your prepared-self to the trailhead. This is not a beginner hike series. The expectation is that you are a seasoned hiker in adequate condition; except, like me, you haven’t done much hiking since last year. Hikes in this series are 3-7 miles and 500’-1500’ elevation gain with a target 1.75-2mph moving pace. The distance and/or gain progresses with each hike. If you’re a lot slower or faster than the stated pace, these hikes are not for you.
