Si Road. Follow it 2.4 miles. Entrance to the trailhead will be on the left. Please note: lots of potholes on the road to the parking lot! Brief hike description: The Talus Loop trail is Mt. Si's easier cousin, lacking the killer views but providing a good workout in a gorgeous forest with lots of conifers, ferns, and a few trickling water features. This time of year, the weather can be unpredictable, so please be prepared with layers for possible rain or snow. Although not required, if it is snowing, poles and/or micro spikes may prove to be helpful. Hike stats: approximately 4 miles, 1400' elevation gain. Expected pace: approximately 2.0mph.

Note: This is a mentored hike, and there will likely be youth in the group. Parents are welcome to register/bring youth if they're confident they can handle the distance and grade.
