Meet at 8:00 AM at the Enumclaw Ranger Station: 450 Roosevelt Ave E, Enumclaw, WA 98022
Mountaineers policy is to wait up to 15 minutes after the meeting time for anyone who may be running late. Please call or text me if you’ll be any later or need to cancel so that we know whether to expect you. (Contact info. will be send to those who register in later time)
The trail is considered easy, but there are a few boulder fields to cross after we pass the falls to complete the loop that can be a bit challenging. We will take our time and cross as a group.
From the Enumclaw Ranger Station we will reorganize and consolidate to reduce number of cars. The trailhead parking area can be tight on weekends.
Driving Directions to the Trailhead
From Enumclaw drive east on Hwy 410 (the Chinook Pass Highway) through the town of Greenwater. Continue driving until you pass the Dalles Campground. About 2.5 miles, turn left into the Camp Sheppard Trailhead, take an immediate right into the parking lot for the Snoquera Falls, Buck Creek and White River trails. This is just a few yards south of Camp Sheppard Boy Scout Camp entrance. A toilet is available in the parking lot.
A Northwest Forest Pass is needed for this trip.
