Day Hike - Skookum Falls

**A midweek, afternoon hike**.The Skookum Flats Trail meanders alongside the White River to Skookum Falls, a 250-foot cascading waterfall, just outside the northeast entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. As the name suggests, Skookum Flats involves little in the way of elevation gain, taking hikers on a gentle tour through old-growth forest, past mossy rocks and fallen trees, with plenty of river views.
